A World of Dragon Art

Many claimed to have killed dragons. These fierce warriors called themselves dragonslayers. They were powerful and witty. They had the power to ward off evil and destroy an evil dragon. Dragonslayers trained for many years and worked very hard to acquire the skills required to defeat a dragon. These warriors protected the cities from evil dragons often fighting until either dragon or slayers perished.

Sometimes evil wizards assumed the role of destroyers of dragons. Their reason for killing dragons was different than that of the slayers. Wizards used dragons for their own game which normally was for the protection and destruction of cites.

In very rare instances did wizards protect dragons. This is evident in the famous wizard known as Merlin the Magician. Merlin used his powers to protect the dying breed and hid dragons in caves and castles when necessary. He was know across the land as a good and merciful wizard.

Many more had taken on these mammoth beasts. One more in particular was the mighty warrior Hercules, the son of Zeus. He was sent to earth as a mortal and brought with him one single power, strength. Hercules was victorious in battling off the dragons that were sent to destroy him by the hell-dwelling Hades.
