A World of Dragon Art

As far as I can remember, I've always loved dragon art. For years, I've been buying and collecting dragon posters and prints. (My collection extends well past dragon art, for example I also collect dragon statues, t-shirts, books and movies - but my true love is definitely dragon art.)

DRAGONS!!! Dragons! Dragons! The mere mention of the word would strike fear into the hearts of men. Their hearts would race, as all men, no matter how big or small, imagined that he would have to confront a larger than life, fire-breathing dragon.

Today, all that remains is dragon art, memorabilia and other items that cannot hurt us. People today believe that dragons never existed. Personally I believe that we, the human race with the help of dragonslayers wiped out this extraordinary race simply because we feared them.

Dragons have appeared in mythology and legends for thousands of years. Every country in the world has some kind of dragon legend. Some real, some make believe. Some of these stories happened before man had completely taken over the world and other stories were made up to scare children.

Whatever the case, there are many questions that require answers. Where did dragons come from? Is it possible that people were really seeing dinosaurs and not dragons? Where did they dwell? Were they good or evil?

In defense of dragons, these magnificent creatures were in fact not evil at all. The so-called evil dragons were the result of evil wizards. These wizards had absolute power over many of the dragons as they did with humans. They led the dragons to cause death and destruction leading many to believe that the dragons themselves were the evil ones.

In the following pages you see many dragon posters that I have collected over the years. My mission is to introduce to the world the dragons that by their own rights should be living freely among us. These pages contain some of the most beautiful dragon posters available, including Chinese dragons. They are available as posters and art prints only since the dragons themselves are extinct…or are they?
